Latvian airline airBaltic received the Export Champion of Latvia title at the annual Export and Innovation Awards. Organised by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) and Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Latvia, the awards acknowledge companies, which have successfully and noticeably represented Latvia in export markets.

In a press release issued by the airline, its CEO Martin Gauss stated: "We are delighted to be recognized as the Latvian export leader for the second time this year. I am proud that the rapid growth of airBaltic is valued and appreciated. This is a clear proof of the hard work our team has done and that our customers appreciate the quality and range of services we provide. We won't stop here, and will keep our sustainable development path in the upcoming years.

In 2018, airBaltic is continuing its stable growth path with improved operational and financial results.
